KUWAIT, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Amthal Al-Huwaila has referred some expatriates and former members of Abdullah Al-Mubarak and Jahra Cooperative Societies' boards of directors to public prosecution. The step came within the framework of measures taken to combat corruption, Al-Huwaila, also Minister of State for Youth Affairs, wrote on her X account on Tuesday. It also aimed at protecting public funds, and shareholders' rights, in implementation of the political leadership's directives to combat corruption, she added.
