JERICHO: Four Palestinian citizens sustained injuries and bruises this evening while passing through a checkpoint erected by Israeli occupation forces at an entrance to the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the injuries occurred when Israeli forces physically assaulted the individuals at the military checkpoint. Israel has been restricting the movement of Palestinians into and out of cities and villages across the occupied West Bank, setting up checkpoints and harassing residents.
