Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasized the significance of legislative and regulatory framework development to support government performance. He highlighted that such advancements would enhance institutional efficiency, improve working environments, and achieve higher levels of productivity and sustainability.
According to Emirates News Agency, this statement was made during a meeting at the Crown Prince's office with Mohammed Khalifa Al Zeyoudi, Director of Human Resources at the Government of Fujairah. The Crown Prince was provided with an explanatory presentation on Human Resources Law No. 2 of 2025. This law is designed to boost job efficiency, improve working conditions, and develop institutional performance, serving as a legislative reference for human resources regulations across government entities in the emirate.
The Crown Prince also underscored the dedication of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, towards supporting initiatives that enhance institutional development and improve government service quality in alignment with community development goals. The new law offers several organizational benefits, including a focus on administrative structures, governance reinforcement, flexible work pattern regulation, and an updated leave system, which extends maternity leave to 90 days from the previous 60 days. Additionally, the law adopts executive regulations and clear salary scales to streamline procedures, protect rights, and clarify duties.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Zeyoudi expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for his attention and follow-up, affirming the Human Resources Department's dedication to implementing the law effectively to achieve its objectives and improve the government working environment. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of H.H. Crown Prince of Fujairah.
