Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has enacted Law No. (2) of 2025, which introduces amendments to the Human Resources Law for government employees in Fujairah. The new law addresses the legal and financial status of government employees, focusing on job grades, allowances, and benefits, and incorporates salary increases as outlined in Law No. (1) of 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Amiri Diwan, highlighted that the amendments reflect the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and are aimed at enhancing job stability and living standards for employees. The changes are expected to improve the quality of government services by promoting balance and stability.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Zeyoudi, Director of Human Resources at the Government of Fujairah, emphasized that the amendments will help attract talent and motivate employees in local departments, benefiting both citizens and residents. The new regulations are designed to support the emirate's development and ensure a decent standard of living for its population.
The law is set to be implemented from 1st January 2026 and will be published in the Official Gazette.
