G42 and Liquid AI Announce Strategic Partnership to Advance AI Solutions for Enterprises

Abu Dhabi: G42, the Abu Dhabi-based global technology group, and Liquid AI, a leading company in efficient foundation models headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, have announced a strategic commercial partnership aimed at developing and deploying generative AI solutions. This collaboration is set to harness Liquid Foundation Models to facilitate the creation, training, and commercialization of AI solutions, targeting a broad international market.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership will focus on delivering private generative AI solutions across various sectors, including investment and banking, consumer electronics, telecommunications, biotech, and energy. The geographic reach of this initiative spans from the Middle East and North Africa to the Global South, aiming to cater to a diverse range of industries.

G42's subsidiaries, Core42 and Inception, will play significant roles in this partnership by providing AI infrastructure for development and collaborating on the design and deployment of multimodal foundation models. Dr. Andrew Jackson, group chief AI officer of G42, emphasized the partnership's objective to create scalable and trusted AI solutions by combining G42's infrastructure capabilities with Liquid AI's model innovation.

Ramin Hasani, co-founder and CEO of Liquid AI, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its alignment with global AI advancements. He noted that this collaboration would enable the delivery of efficient, capable, and private general-purpose AI models to enterprises at an unprecedented scale and speed.

The announcement of this partnership comes on the heels of the recent US-UAE AI acceleration partnership, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering responsible and inclusive AI development globally.
