GDRFA Dubai Partners with Canadian University Dubai to Enhance National Talent and Innovation

Dubai: The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has entered into a partnership with Canadian University Dubai to promote creativity, foster national talent, and develop collaborative educational and research initiatives. This agreement aims to support sustainable development and customer satisfaction.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized during the 'Elite Education Gateway 2025' exhibition, hosted by GDRFA Dubai, featuring participation from leading local and international universities. The exhibition's goal was to empower students to explore academic opportunities both domestically and internationally, and to introduce educational programs that align with labor market demands and the aspirations of younger generations.

The agreement was signed by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, and Butti Saeed Al Kindi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Canadian University Dubai. This collaboration will focus on exchanging expertise, organizing training sessions, developing educational programs, and offering discounts for GDRFA Dubai employees and their families.

Furthermore, the agreement includes provisions for Canadian University Dubai students to engage in GDRFA Dubai's innovation labs, allowing them to work on research and applied projects that align with Dubai's future goals in digital services.

Lieutenant General Al Marri emphasized that this partnership underscores GDRFA Dubai's commitment to integrating government and academic sectors, promoting knowledge exchange, and preparing national talents for institutional development. He highlighted the importance of cooperation with educational institutions to equip a generation with innovative thinking and scientific skills that align with Dubai's global ambitions.

Butti Saeed Al Kindi expressed pride in the collaboration, noting that it serves as a model for constructive engagement between education and public service, providing students with opportunities to develop skills in real-world settings. He praised the partnership with GDRFA Dubai as a benchmark for excellence and innovation in government and expressed anticipation for research and training initiatives that will benefit the community.
