General strike to be observed today in protest of Hamas chief’s assassination

RAMALLAH: The national and Islamic forces in Palestine declared a general strike all across Palestine, condemning the assassination of Hamas leader and political bureau Ismail Haniyeh. The forces mourned the leader Haniyeh in a press statement today, and stressed that "this cowardly assassination will not break the will and steadfastness of Palestinian people, but will increase their determination and resolve to move forward by adhering to their rights and national constants until freedom and independence."
