Abu Dhabi: GISEC Global 2025 returns to Dubai from May 6th to 8th, gathering the world's leading figures, innovators, and visionaries in an effort to secure the digital future.
According to Emirates News Agency, GISEC Global will transform the Dubai World Trade Centre into the epicenter of cybersecurity, uniting over 450 Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), 25,000 professionals from 160 countries, and more than 750 brands. These participants range from tech giants like AWS, Huawei, and Microsoft to innovative startups. The event is considered the Middle East and Africa's most pivotal cyber gathering, organized under the theme 'Securing an AI-Powered Future.'
The 14th edition of GISEC Global will highlight critical focus areas from leading industry players, including Huawei, AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud Security, CISCO, Deloitte, Kaspersky, Check Point, Cloudflare, and Honeywell. It will also feature groundbreaking cybersecurity companies such as Spire Solutions, CPX, CyberKnight, LinkShadow, OPSWAT, Qualys, CrowdStrike, StrikeReady, and Dream Group.
The three-day event is set to reinforce the UAE's position as a leader in AI innovation and responsible AI deployment, blending global expertise with regional priorities. The event will emphasize public-private collaboration, innovation, and talent development as it addresses the increasing sophistication of cyber threats.
These priorities come at a crucial time. The World Economic Forum's Global Security Outlook 2025 report, released ahead of GISEC Global 2025, indicates that 66% of organizations view AI as a game-changer in cybersecurity. Moreover, nearly half of these organizations warn that generative AI is equipping hackers with scalable new attack vectors.
These insights underscore the rapid changes in the global cybersecurity market, a sector anticipated to grow to $298.5 billion by 2028, up from $190.4 billion in 2023, according to Markets and Markets.
Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, emphasized the importance of GISEC Global amidst growing cyber threats. He noted that the UAE's partnership with GISEC highlights its commitment to uniting global stakeholders to address urgent cybersecurity challenges.
