GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Showcases Breakthroughs in Tech and Healthcare

Dubai: Momentum continued to build on Day 3 of GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world's largest tech and AI event, as it unveiled groundbreaking innovations and partnerships that are redefining industries. The event spans various technology fields, including AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and quantum systems, with a notable focus on biotech and digital healthcare innovations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the 45th edition of GITEX GLOBAL, running until 17 October 2025, gathers over 6,800 exhibitors, 2,000 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries at the Dubai World Trade Centre. On the main stage, Trevor Martin, CEO and Co-Founder of Mammoth Biosciences, introduced new digital healthcare concepts with his talk on Synthetic Biology. He discussed how AI and CRISPR technologies are working towards eradicating diseases through AI-driven diagnostics and gene-editing.

Matt Angle, CEO of Paradromics, spoke about a significant development in medical history-the first successful brain-computer implant. The technology records neural activity to assist patients, particularly those unable to speak, by enabling speech through a brain-computer interface. Ashley Zehnder, CEO of Fauna Bio, discussed decoding the genomes of resilient animal species to discover new drugs, while Jack Hidary, CEO of SandboxAQ, explained how quantum algorithms could expedite pharmaceutical research and development cycles.

Healthcare discussions continued with Dimitris Moulavasilis, Group CEO of M42, and Dr. Georges-Pascal Haber, CEO of Cleveland Clinic, advocating for a shift from treatment-oriented systems to prevention-focused health intelligence. They proposed redesigning healthcare systems to prioritize prevention and keep patients healthy.

In the exhibition halls, global technology enterprises showcased their innovations. Siemens demonstrated its AI-powered solutions for transforming critical systems, while Snowflake highlighted its AI Data Cloud for building and scaling AI applications. XPANCEO presented smart contact lens prototypes integrating AR and micro-optics, offering a glimpse into the future of wearable computing.

Startups also impressed with their innovations. Sharedpro Technologies launched an AI-powered tool for autism screening, while Arlan Biotech introduced a GenAI-driven platform for antibody discovery. Sonic Group showcased sound technologies enhancing human wellbeing.

The event also featured strategic partnerships, with Dubai Municipality and Cisco signing an agreement to advance the city's digital infrastructure. With record attendance and intense deal-signing, GITEX GLOBAL 2025 reaffirms its position as a leading platform for technology, investment, and collaboration. Day 4 will focus on cybersecurity, data sovereignty, and digital resilience, as global leaders discuss strategies for securing the intelligent economy.
