Dubai:Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 concluded today at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), marking the end of a three-day event focused on manufacturing innovation and industry advancements. The event underscored the importance of advanced technologies and industrial capabilities in enhancing food security.
According to Wam, the 12th edition of Gulfood Manufacturing was part of a larger assembly of four co-located exhibitions, including GulfHost, ISM Middle East, and Private Label Middle East. This event connected the entire food production, retail, and hospitality value chain, from ingredients, processing, and packaging to automation, confectionery, private label, and foodservice equipment.
Mark Napier, Vice President of inD, highlighted the exhibition's success in showcasing the strength of the global food manufacturing industry, with remarkable international attendance and high-caliber buyers. He noted the serious commercial engagements on the show floor, where decision-makers evaluated new production lines, major equipment investments, and business opportunities. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, Napier emphasized the critical need for reliable supply chains and local production capabilities, which platforms like Gulfood Manufacturing help address by facilitating international trade and collaboration.
The exhibition also focused on practical technologies and solutions that enhance productivity, maintain product quality, optimize resource consumption, and reduce operational costs for manufacturers. With the conclusion of the 2026 edition, Gulfood Manufacturing is set to move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City, from November 1-3, 2027. This relocation represents a significant step forward, allowing for an expanded scale and stronger connections across the manufacturing value chain.
