Hamdan bin Mohammed Attends Graduation of Second Cohort of Zayed Military University

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, attended the graduation ceremony of the second cohort of officer cadets from Zayed Military University. The ceremony was held at the university's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed urged the graduates to exhibit discipline and dedication in serving the nation, utilizing their skills and expertise to bolster the UAE's progress and support its development under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He encouraged them to lead in the Armed Forces, upholding the UAE's values and its commitment to global peace and security.

Sheikh Hamdan reiterated that the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, forms the foundation for the Armed Forces' defensive capabilities. This vision emphasizes the development of human capital with advanced military sciences, strategic skills, and enhanced defense systems in line with global standards.

The ceremony featured the UAE national anthem and a military advancement drill by the cadets, showcasing their training and discipline. Lieutenant General Mike Hindmarsh, Commandant of Zayed Military University, highlighted the historic first graduation of female cadets and the University's commitment to leading national security education.

Lieutenant General Hindmarsh emphasized the cadets' mastery of academic and operational skills, critical thinking, and leadership across the security sector, including armed forces and police. The event celebrated the cadets' readiness to lead the nation's defense with distinction.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed awarded top graduates and distinguished cadets, alongside prominent military and defense officials. The ceremony concluded with the handover of the university flag to the third cohort, graduates' oath of loyalty, and commemorative photographs with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.
