Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, today visited Dubai Health’s headquarters. During his visit, he was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Health Board of Directors; and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Dubai Health Board of Directors. Sheikh Hamdan assessed Dubai Health’s projects and initiatives which integrate care, learning, discovery, and giving within an academic health system aimed at advancing health for humanity.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that health is crucial to the prosperity of the community in Dubai. He stated that Dubai Health embodies Dubai’s commitment to the goals of Dubai Social Agenda 33 by o
ffering high-quality, science and innovation-driven healthcare services, including preventive and treatment programmes that adhere to international standards. Sheikh Hamdan praised the Dubai Health team for their commitment to patients and families and expressed the ambition for Dubai Health to become the leading academic health system globally.
During his visit, he also explored the Health Operations Centre, where he examined the latest community-based and digital healthcare programmes, along with the Reaya Initiative, which delivers healthcare services to senior citizens and individuals of determination. Additionally, he received a briefing on the Patient Journey Redesign Programme, which aims to enhance access to healthcare services, ensure quality care, and expand home-based and telemedicine services.
