Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club, has reviewed the final preparations for the 23rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, marking the largest in the exhibition's history.
According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition, themed 'The Legacy Lives On,' will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 28th August to 6th September this year. Organised under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed and hosted by ADNEC Group, a Modon Company, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers' Club, this event aims to celebrate and preserve the Emirati heritage and culture.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed expressed gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his unwavering support for ADIHEX, emphasizing the leadership's commitment to maintaining the authentic Emirati heritage and culture. This backing has played a pivotal role in establishing the exhibition as a global platform that honors national identity, aiming to pass its values and legacy to future generations, thereby strengthening society's connection to its historical roots.
During a meeting at Al Nakheel Palace in Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan evaluated the latest organisational plans, including operational strategies for exhibitors and participants from the UAE and other countries. The exhibition is recognized as a critical global platform in the fields of hunting, equestrianism, falconry, and heritage and environmental preservation.
He further stated that ADIHEX serves as an exemplary model in leveraging specialized events to fulfill heritage preservation goals, enhance environmental awareness, and support the sustainability of Emirati cultural heritage. The exhibition also plays an essential role in attracting international expertise and forming global partnerships.
