Heads of the HCS’s committees meet with Koury and DiCarlo.

Tripoli: heads of the High State Council's committees met with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary A. DiCarlo, in the presence of the Deputy Head of the UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, and a number of UNSMIL's members. They discussed the latest developments in the political and economic situations in Libya, including the HCS's role in these stages to advance the political process towards holding elections. According to the communication office of the Council, the heads of committees stressed the importance of continuing these efforts and putting an end to the obstruction of the council in performing its duties. They also expressed their rejection of unilateral decisions, including the Central Bank of Libya crisis and the risks it caused to Libya's financial situation locally and internationally.
