Lahore: At least 14 people have lost their lives and more than 50 others have been injured due to severe weather conditions in various cities across Pakistan's Punjab province. The region has been hit by dust storms, thunderstorms, and heavy rainfall over the past few days, leading to these unfortunate incidents.
According to Emirates News Agency, as reported by Emirates News Agency, further weather disturbances are anticipated in the coming days. Thunderstorms and snowstorms are expected to affect the capital city Islamabad, as well as the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Pothwar region, and parts of Punjab and Balochistan. The authorities are advising residents in these areas to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety amid the ongoing adverse weather conditions.
