Suzhou: One person was killed and four others were injured when a helicopter crashed on Friday in the city of Suzhou, located in east China's Jiangsu Province, local authorities reported Saturday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Robinson R44 II helicopter was returning from a flight when it crashed from a height of approximately 10 metres at around 5 p.m., as stated by the local emergency management bureau.
The crash resulted in the death of one person on the ground. All four individuals on board the helicopter sustained injuries and have been hospitalised. Reports indicate that none of the injured are in life-threatening condition.
The Jiangsu Provincial Civil Aviation Authority has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
