Humaid Bin Rashid Allocates AED5 Million to Support Ajman Fishermen for Eid Al-Adha

Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has announced a financial grant of AED5 million for fishermen affiliated with the Ajman Co-operative Society for Fishermen in celebration of Eid Al-Adha. The initiative aims to motivate UAE citizens to pursue fishing and assist fishermen in meeting family needs and maintaining a sustainable livelihood.

According to Emirates News Agency, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Ghamlassy, Chairman of the Ajman Crown Prince's Office and the Society's Board of Directors, highlighted that this support is specifically for citizens holding fishing licenses in Ajman who are part of the society. Al Ghamlassy expressed gratitude towards Sheikh Humaid for his continued support, which aims to secure the welfare of fishermen and their families while promoting the fishing profession.

Al Ghamlassy also extended his congratulations to H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. He noted that the generous grant, aligned with the religious holiday, has brought happiness to the fishermen and their families, symbolizing the strong connection between the leadership and the community.

He further emphasized that the grant serves as a substantial boost to the Society's mission to preserve maritime heritage and instill its importance in future generations. Al Ghamlassy affirmed the Society's commitment to advancing the fishing profession by providing essential support and resources to empower fishermen, acknowledging the leadership's steadfast backing.
