Humaid bin Rashid Visits ‘Ajman Avenue’ to Review Commercial Projects


Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, conducted an inspection visit to ‘Ajman Avenue,’ which includes the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society in the Al Hamidiyah area.



According to Emirates News Agency, the visit was aimed at reviewing commercial projects and youth-led ventures in the area, aligning with the leadership’s approach to maintain close engagement with the community and directly assess their needs. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid also visited several retail outlets at ‘Ajman Avenue’ and engaged in conversations with Emiratis, visitors, and business owners.



The tour included a detailed look at the facility’s key components, such as the Ajman Markets Cooperative branch. This branch was established at a cost of AED70 million and spans 30,000 square metres. It features a cooperative hypermarket covering 10,000 square metres, 22 indoor retail outlets, 24 external shops, and an outdoor area accommodating 24 restaurants and caf©s.



The visit by the Ajman Ruler highlights his ongoing commitment to monitoring projects and facilities that enhance quality of life, address citizens’ needs, and strengthen service systems in alignment with the emirate’s comprehensive development goals. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid was accompanied by several Sheikhs and officials during the tour.
