Inaugural WHX Tech Launches in Dubai with AI and Humanity at Forefront

Dubai: The inaugural WHX Tech, a pioneering platform for digital health innovation, officially commenced today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is set to feature over 200 expert speakers, 300 exhibitors, and anticipates attendance from 5,000 global healthcare leaders over its three-day span.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event was officially opened by Dr. Alawi AlSheikh-Ali, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority. Dr. AlSheikh-Ali emphasized that the first edition of WHX Tech is a reflection of the rapid progress in digital health technologies and their vital role in shaping the future of healthcare. He highlighted that the cutting-edge solutions presented at the event aim to enhance healthcare services and improve patient outcomes. This initiative aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to position Dubai as a global hub for health innovation.

Dr. Amin Al Ameeri, Assistant Undersecretary of Health Regulations Sector of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, also addressed the attendees at the World X stage. He posed a critical question about whether humans or AI will dictate the future of healthcare. Dr. Al Ameeri concluded his speech by asserting that humans will lead AI, urging attendees to bring their innovations and ideas to Dubai, which values human intellect and creativity. He encouraged embracing the opportunities presented by WHX Tech to collaboratively adopt new technologies for the future of health and humanity.

WHX Tech is organized in strategic partnership with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), ensuring the event's credibility and alignment with the healthcare sector's most pressing priorities.
