Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced that, as part of the ongoing follow-up to the previously reported incident caused by falling shrapnel following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems, the incident has resulted in the deaths of two individuals of Pakistani and Indian nationality, and in injuries ranging from serious to moderate sustained by three individuals of Emirati, Jordanian and Indian nationality.
According to Emirates News Agency, the authorities have been actively investigating the aftermath of the missile interception to assess the impact and prevent future incidents. The tragic loss of life has prompted condolences and support from both local and international communities, emphasizing the importance of maintaining robust air defense measures to safeguard civilian areas.
