International Charity Organisation Initiates AED13 Million Projects in Mauritania

Dubai: A delegation from the International Charity Organisation, led by Secretary-General Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, today launched 80 charitable projects in Mauritania, with a total investment of AED13 million.

According to Emirates News Agency, the launch occurred during a field visit by the delegation to several villages in Mauritania, aligning with preparations for the 2025 Ramadan campaign. This campaign is aimed at providing large-scale aid to the most vulnerable communities in the region.

Dr. Al Khaja highlighted that the visit underscores the organisation's dedication to sustaining humanitarian assistance for remote villages. The projects initiated include the distribution of food parcels, water supply initiatives, orphan sponsorship, healthcare improvements, educational support, mosque construction, and zakat distribution, among other efforts.
