Abu dhabi: The International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) 2026, a pivotal biennial event dedicated to national security and civil defence, is set to introduce five innovative features at its ninth edition from 19th to 21st May at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, these new features signify a substantial expansion in the exhibition's focus on advanced security technologies, emergency response services, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions. ISNR 2026 aims to facilitate international collaboration and knowledge exchange by bringing together government organisations, law enforcement agencies, and industry experts to tackle emerging security challenges and bolster national security capabilities.
Among the highlights of this year's event is the inaugural AI Security Forum. This three-day strategic platform will gather industry leaders, policymakers, technology providers, and AI experts to explore AI's transformative role in enhancing national security, cyber defence, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure protection. The forum will offer a dynamic space for cross-sector collaboration as AI continues to influence the global security landscape.
The event will also feature the Code Breaker Hackathon, a live competition designed to immerse participants in real-world cybersecurity scenarios. This initiative aims to emphasize the importance of digital defences and provide practical insights into evolving threats and innovations in the cybersecurity domain.
Additionally, ISNR 2026 will introduce the Fire Hub, a dedicated platform showcasing the latest vehicles, technologies, and equipment from leading manufacturers and suppliers in the fire safety sector. Visitors will also witness the K9 Agility Display, which will demonstrate the agility, precision, and operational readiness of specialised canine units. This display will involve teams from the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi Police, Worldwide K9 Academy, and Jordan National K9, showcasing advancements in K9 capabilities and training methodologies.
Another feature of ISNR 2026 is the ISNR Fitness Competition, organised by ADNEC Group and OXYGEN in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. This interactive experience will challenge participants with demanding CrossFit-based obstacle courses, emphasizing the rigorous physical standards required of frontline emergency service professionals. The competition underscores the importance of physical and mental readiness in enhancing the effectiveness of security and emergency response teams.
ISNR 2026 will also continue to present its flagship offerings, including the Cybersecurity Hub and the Delegation Lounge. The Cybersecurity Hub, in collaboration with the UAE Cybersecurity Council, will spotlight the latest technologies and solutions in cybersecurity, highlighting the role of advanced technology in enhancing cyber resilience across government entities and critical sectors. The Delegation Lounge will serve as a forum for government officials, policymakers, and industry leaders to exchange insights and forge impactful partnerships.
