Israel intends to transfer control of the Rafah crossing to an American security company

Gaza - Together - Israel expressed its commitment to Washington and Cairo, to limit, at this stage, its attack on the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and that the attack be based on seizing control of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, and that it should only be carried out in the east of the city. This came according to what the Haaretz newspaper reported in a report published on Tuesday evening, during which it indicated that Tel Aviv, Washington and Cairo intend to transfer responsibility for the crossing to a private American security company, after the Israeli army completes its operation in the region.
