Jerusalem: The Israeli government has approved a colonial construction plan in the E1 area. This plan includes the construction of more than 3,401 housing units, along with the establishment of a new settlement named "Ashahal." This new settlement will comprise 342 colonial units, public buildings, and will effectively divide the West Bank into two parts.
According to Emirates Press Agency, the approval of this plan comes amid escalating tensions in the region. The Gaza Strip has witnessed a significant increase in casualties, with the death toll reaching 62,122, predominantly affecting women and children, since the onset of Israeli aggression in October 2023. Additionally, at least 156,758 individuals have sustained injuries.
Medical sources report that, within the past 24 hours, 58 Palestinians have been killed and 185 others injured.
