JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinian workers this morning near the towns of Al-Ram and Al-Za'ayim, located north and east of occupied Jerusalem. Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli forces detained a number of workers after assaulting them near the Al-Za'ayim checkpoint to the east of Jerusalem. The identities of the detainees remain unknown at this time. In addition, Israeli troops raided the area around the Israeli segregation barrier adjacent to the town of Al-Ram, where they used tear gas against a group of Palestinian workers.
