Jawaher Al Qasimi Attends ‘RQ Odyssey’ Ceremony Honoring Over 1,000 Alumni in Sharjah

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, attended a ceremony honoring more than 1,000 alumni from Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah Capabilities Development. The event also recognized 40 pioneers from the founding generation of Rub? Qarn entities. According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony was held at the Sharjah Children and Sajaya Young Ladies centres in Al Qarain as part of the RQ Odyssey initiative organized by the Rub? Qarn Foundation. The initiative reflects over four decades of sustained investment in human development, inspired by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. In her address, H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi praised the pioneers who laid the foundations of Rub? Qarn. She acknowledged their efforts in establishing a national project that cultivates leaders, creativi ty, and innovation. She expressed pride in the journey led by these pioneers with dedication and belief. Addressing the alumni, Sheikha Jawaher emphasized the importance of knowledge, patience, and love for the country in shaping their paths in life. She encouraged them to continue discovering themselves and serving their community, expressing pride in their achievements and potential. In a recorded address, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qassimi, Director-General of the Rub? Qarn Foundation, reflected on the journey that began in 1985 with Sharjah's first children's library. She highlighted the evolution into more than 30 centers nurturing talent, leadership, and creativity. Celebrating the graduates, she noted, is a celebration of the founders' vision and the dedication of teams across generations. Khawla Al Haway, Director of Sharjah Children, spoke on behalf of the graduates, acknowledging the central role of Rub? Qarn in shaping their values and skills. She affirmed that the vision of Sharjah's lead ership continues to guide their paths. The ceremony featured exhibitions, interactive activities, and creative displays highlighting the achievements and journeys of Rub? Qarn graduates. It was attended by Sheikha Aisha bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Sheikha Nawar bint Ahmed Al Qasimi, and senior officials from Sharjah government entities.
