Dubai: Jumeirah, a leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, has announced a landmark partnership introducing The Maltese Falcon, a celebrated sailing superyacht, into the Jumeirah Priv© collection. This move marks the brand's entry into luxury yachting.
According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership adds a second offering to the Jumeirah Priv© portfolio, alongside Jumeirah Thanda Island. The collection is designed to provide private and exclusive escapes, enhanced by Jumeirah's world-class service and amenities. Jumeirah plans to bring its signature culinary, wellness, and anticipatory service experiences to The Maltese Falcon, aligning with its global hospitality approach.
The Maltese Falcon, an 88-metre sailing yacht, is renowned for its innovation and design, featuring a DynaRig system with three rotating carbon-fibre masts. These can unfurl 2,400 square metres of sail in six minutes. The yacht has won over 18 awards since its 2006 launch.
The Maltese Falcon will begin its inaugural voyage under the Jumeirah Priv© banner in December 2025 from Antigua, with seasonal itineraries between the Mediterranean and Caribbean. It will visit locations such as the Balearic Islands, French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, and Sardinia in summer, and return to the Caribbean for the winter season.
Thomas B. Meier, CEO of Jumeirah, stated that the partnership with The Maltese Falcon represents an exciting new chapter for Jumeirah Priv©, emphasizing the brand's commitment to creating unique experiences with a focus on privacy, exclusivity, and exceptional service.
Jumeirah is on track to double its portfolio size by 2030, expanding its presence in key markets while enhancing guest experiences through intentional design, mindful living, and holistic wellbeing.
