Kazakhstan Awards UAE Minister the Order of Dostyk

Abu Dhabi:President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan has awarded the Order of Dostyk (Order of Friendship) of II Degree to Suhail bin Mohamed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. This honor was given in recognition of Al Mazrouei's dedicated efforts to enhance the friendly relations and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

According to Emirates News Agency, President Tokayev emphasized the strong and strategic partnership between the two nations, highlighting the UAE as one of the largest foreign investors in Kazakhstan. In 2025, the UAE's foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan reached US$1.64 billion, marking a 3.5% increase. He expressed gratitude for the UAE's support since Kazakhstan's early years of independence.

The President noted the significant contributions of Emirati companies to Kazakhstan's development, inviting further participation in joint projects in key sectors such as agriculture, energy, petrochemicals, mining, construction, transport and logistics, finance, and tourism.

Suhail Al Mazrouei expressed his gratitude to President Tokayev for the prestigious award, viewing it as a testament to the strong bilateral relations and the progress made across various fields. He also lauded the Kazakh government for providing favorable conditions for joint investment projects.
