KEZAD Group Secures Platinum Sponsorship of Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup

Abu dhabi: The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) and Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) have announced a significant three-year agreement that appoints KEZAD Group as the Platinum Sponsor of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC). This sponsorship highlights the UAE's dedication to promoting purebred Arabian horses and enhancing the nation's global leadership in equestrian pursuits.

According to Emirates News Agency, this partnership aligns with the UAE's strategic efforts to elevate the status of Arabian horses internationally and support horse owners and breeders worldwide. It reflects the country's commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Arabian horses and expanding their global presence.

The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup is supervised by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and Chairman of the EAHGC Higher Organising Committee. This underscores the unwavering support from UAE leadership in positioning the country as a central hub for purebred Arabian horses.

The Cup serves as an international platform from the UAE, designed to promote Arabian horses and support owners and breeders globally. It reflects the country's pioneering role in maintaining this cultural heritage and advancing it on an international scale. The competition series spans different continents, aiming to bolster the legacy of Arabian horses and highlight the UAE's efforts in this vital sector.

The third edition of the EAHGC started in January, building on the achievements of previous editions. The second edition concluded in December 2025 in Kuwait, featuring 791 horses and approximately 460 owners. The total prize pool reached AED 3.986 million, with 488 horses and 342 owners receiving accolades, illustrating the event's growing international prominence and the UAE's significant influence in the global Arabian horse championship arena.

Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at AD Ports Group, expressed that KEZAD Group's sponsorship reflects its commitment to supporting national initiatives that integrate the UAE's cultural heritage into its development journey. This association celebrates the nation's identity and traditions, values cherished by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and upheld by current leadership.

Al Hameli added that the heritage of Arabian horses motivates KEZAD Group's dedication to sustainable development and economic diversification, enhancing competitiveness and reinforcing the UAE's global standing across various fields.

Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and Vice Chairman of the EAHGC Committee, emphasized that KEZAD Group's sponsorship is crucial for supporting Arabian horse owners and breeders and enhancing the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup's international reputation. He noted that it contributes to preserving the legacy of Arabian horses and reinforces the UAE's leadership in this domain.
