Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, alongside H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, have received delegations at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The event is being held at Dubai World Central and will continue until 21 November, hosting leaders and experts from the aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, Their Highnesses extended a warm welcome to visiting delegations, including defence ministers, chiefs of staff, and senior military officials from various nations. They expressed hopes for a successful event that would yield positive outcomes, advancing the future of the aviation industry and enhancing its sustainable development.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the importance of the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, describing it as a pivotal milestone in the development of the aviation and defence sectors. He emphasized the UAE's role as a trusted partner and key driver of growth in these global industries. The event showcases the international community's confidence in the UAE's vision of a diversified knowledge-based economy, enhancing security, stability, and leveraging advanced technology for humanity's benefit.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum remarked on the UAE's growing position as one of the world's most competitive economies, attributing this success to the leadership's investment in people, knowledge, and innovation. He noted that the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in making Dubai a leading global center for aviation, space, and defence, and a hub for innovation, investment, and future-making.
The reception was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; along with other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
After the reception, Their Highnesses and participating delegation leaders attended an aerial display featuring a range of advanced commercial and military aircraft. The Dubai Airshow serves as a global platform for industry leaders to explore growth and innovation opportunities, with the 2025 edition featuring leading companies in aviation and space technologies.
