Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has met with the National Basketball Association (NBA) Commissioner Adam Silver. The meeting focused on discussions surrounding Abu Dhabi’s role in hosting the NBA pre-season games. This event is part of the strategic partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi and the NBA.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of fostering young sports talent in basketball through various initiatives and programs. The exchange of views between Sheikh Khaled and Commissioner Silver underscored the commitment to nurturing future basketball talent in the region.
The meeting was also attended by notable figures including Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince. Their presence emphasized the importance of this collaboration between Abu Dhabi and the NBA.
