Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Highlights AI Integration at ADIPEC 2024.


Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has toured pavilions at the 40th edition of ADIPEC, which is being held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, until 7 November 2024, at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. H.H. Sheikh Khaled emphasised the significance of ADIPEC 2024 as a leading global platform to advance the use of AI technologies in the energy sector, enhancing its productivity and efficiency.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Khaled reaffirmed ADIPEC’s pivotal role as a global hub, bringing together leaders from the energy, technology, and investment sectors to explore the integration of AI in advancing sustainable energy solutions. He emphasised that Abu Dhabi’s hosting of ADIPEC reflects its leadership in innovative climate solutions and its commitment to leveraging advanced technology to build a more sustainable future for generations to come.

as also briefed on the new additions to ADIPEC and toured the new ENERGYai Zone hosted by ADNOC, which showcases innovative AI solutions aimed at shaping the future of energy and accelerating low carbon growth. The ENERGYai Zone is also providing an immersive AI experience and includes interactive exhibitions, demonstrations and panel sessions with some of the world’s leading innovators and experts in energy and technology.

He also visited local and international stands and pavilions, where he was briefed by exhibitors on new innovative energy and technology solutions delivering more energy with fewer emissions.

Sheikh Khaled was accompanied by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC; Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General
of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

ADIPEC features 10 conferences, spanning 16 halls and brings together more than 2,200 exhibitors from the global energy ecosystem to showcase the latest breakthroughs shaping the future of energy. This includes 54 NOCs, IOCs, NECs and IECs, 30 dedicated country pavilions and four specialised industry areas focused on decarbonisation, digitalisation, maritime and logistics and AI.
