Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Leads ADNOC Board Meeting on Crisis Management

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors at the company's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the discussion focused on ADNOC's business continuity plans and their alignment with international standards to tackle disruptions from emergencies, crises, and disasters.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Khaled examined strategies to protect personnel and assets, ensuring the safe continuation of operations. Preventive measures are being implemented across ADNOC's group companies to safeguard facilities and maintain supply chain resilience while meeting global energy demand.

Temporary operational adjustments have been made for exportable products to mitigate disruptions in maritime navigation and shipping amid recent regional developments. ADNOC is actively assessing situations on a location-specific basis to meet customer needs.

The committee reviewed a report on the operational impact at ADNOC facilities due to debris from intercepted missiles and drones targeting the UAE. These attacks breach international laws and threaten regional stability and energy security.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled praised the readiness and rapid response of national entities in protecting personnel and maintaining operations. He affirmed ADNOC's resilience in delivering energy supplies despite challenges.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Khaled engaged with ADNOC's business continuity team and frontline teams, commending their dedication amid challenges. The meeting was attended by key ministers and ADNOC executives, including Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber and Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei.
