Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, raised the UAE flag at Zayed National Museum in a ceremony marking the UAE's Flag Day, which is celebrated annually on November 3.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Khaled expressed that UAE Flag Day is a significant national event that embodies the deep sense of belonging and loyalty the citizens hold for their nation and leadership. He emphasized that the occasion serves as a moment to renew collective commitment to uphold the values and achievements of the Union, as envisioned by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding rulers of the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled highlighted that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE continues to pursue a consistent path of excellence, guided by enduring values and a belief in empowering people as the foundation of development and the architects of the nation's future.
Sheikh Khaled underscored that the UAE is advancing toward greater achievements, building on its comprehensive development journey and reinforcing its position as a global model of progress and innovation. This progress is guided by visionary leadership, supported by empowered national talent, and driven by a sustainable, innovation-led approach dedicated to ensuring a prosperous future for generations to come.
The flag-raising ceremony included the UAE national anthem and was attended by several key figures, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development, among others. The event was also attended by senior officers, officials, and employees of the Abu Dhabi Government.
