Khoury: I discussed with Bengdara the critical situation the oil sector is going through in light of the declaration of force majeure, and ways to preserve the independence and unity of the institution.

Tripoli: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, “Farhat Bengdara”, met yesterday, Wednesday, with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Khoury.

“Khoury” said in a tweet she published on X that she discussed with “Bengdara” the critical situation the oil sector is going through in light of the declaration of a state of force majeure, and ways to preserve the independence and unity of the corporation.

“Khoury” urged all parties to support the corporation’s efforts to achieve stability and increase production. .
