King Abdullah II of Jordan Discusses with French President, Prime Ministers of Italy, Canada De-Escalation Efforts in Region

King Abdullah II of Jordan spoke on the phone, on Tuesday, with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, to discuss ongoing global efforts for de-escalation in the region. King Abdullah II of Jordan noted the dangerous expansion of conflict cycle in the region, precipitating intensive endeavors to halt everything that poses a threat to the security and stability of the region. He underlined the importance of reaching an immediate and durable ceasefire in Gaza, protecting civilians and preventing the worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
