King of Jordan tasks Jafar Hassan with forming new cabinet

AMMAN: His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today tasked Dr. Jafar Hassan with forming a new cabinet, following the resignation of former Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh's government. According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), King Abdullah II has entrusted Bisher Khasawneh's Cabinet to continue as a caretaker government until a new cabinet is formed and assumes office.
