Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea and President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia reached an agreement on Monday to enhance cooperation in areas including trade, technology, and defense, as announced by the presidential office. This development follows their first phone conversation since President Lee took office earlier this month, during which they explored methods to advance the Special Strategic Partnership that was initiated between the two nations in 2017.
According to Emirates News Agency, the leaders have decided to focus on strengthening strategic cooperation across various sectors. These sectors include trade and investment, along with advanced industries that are being propelled by digital and green transitions.
