Goheung: The Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) has announced that it has finalized the date for the fourth launch of the Nuri space rocket, scheduled for November 27. This marks a significant milestone for the country's space exploration efforts, with the launch taking place from the Naro Space Centre in the southern coastal village of Goheung.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Nuri, formally known as the Korea Space Launch Vehicle II (KSLV-II), will have a backup launch window between November 28 and December 4. The rocket is set to lift off between 12:54 am and 1:14 am, with the precise time to be determined a day prior to launch. In addition to its main satellite payload, the rocket will carry 12 smaller satellites that are expected to be delivered to the space centre by the end of October.
"This launch will be the first since the establishment of the space agency," stated KASA Administrator Yoon Young-bin. He emphasized the importance of flawless preparation and the agency's commitment to working as a cohesive team to ensure the success of the mission.
