KRCS distributes Eid clothes to 4,000 families in need

Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said on Thursday that they distributed Eid clothes for 4,000 families in need, that are registered in KRCS records, in Kuwait.

In a statement to KUNA, KRCS Vice Chairman of Board of Directors Anwar Al-Hasawi said that distributing Eid Al-Adha clothes is one of the society’s seasonal projects, to provide help to the limited income families and meet their needs.

Al-Hasawi affirmed the association’s keenness to help these families by participating in religious and national occasions, as well as providing them with humanitarian assistance and healthcare.

He referred to Eid Al-Adha exhibition, which comes within the association’s yearly held plans, and includes different products for all family members (clothing, shoes and accessories) as well as household items, stressing that all products are new and unused.

The beneficiaries of this project are widows, orphans, divorcees, the elderly, people with limited income, sick and people with disabilities, explained Al-Hasawi, noting that this project supports everyone in need inside Kuwait, affirming community development and cooperation.
