Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Wednesday the Israeli occupation Knesset's designation of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) as a "terrorist" organization. In a statement, the Ministry said that the Israeli move is a clear encroachment on the UN and its agencies, and a dangerous challenge to a UN humanitarian agency tasked with alleviating the sufferings of the brotherly Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip and across the region. The State of Kuwait urged again the international community to take decisive steps against these Israeli plots that aim to eliminate UNRWA and end its humanitarian and social support for Palestinian refugees and protect their right to return to their homes, it stressed.
