Kuwait city: Kuwait crude oil dropped by US$2.59 on Tuesday to settle at US$66.21 per barrel, down from the previous day's price of US$68.80 per barrel, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced on Wednesday.
According to Emirates News Agency, Brent crude futures also experienced a decline, slipping by $1.22 to reach $64.40 per barrel. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) saw a decrease of $1.16, bringing its price down to $60.15 per barrel.
The decline in Kuwait's oil prices comes amidst a broader trend of decreasing prices in global oil benchmarks. The fluctuations in oil prices are closely monitored by stakeholders in the energy sector, as they can have significant implications for economic planning and revenue projections.
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation continues to track these changes and their potential impact on the national economy. The corporation plays a crucial role in managing the country's oil resources and ensuring the stability of its energy sector.
