Dubai: H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has underscored Dubai’s dedication to cultural initiatives that embody the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. This vision aims to establish Dubai as a global hub for creativity and coexistence, balancing authenticity with modernity to engage with diverse cultural achievements while preserving national identity.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikha Latifa chaired the Cultural Identity and Media Leaders Majlis, part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, which convened 1,000 government and private sector leaders. She emphasized that the forum highlights Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership philosophy, rooted in action, resilience, and service. Sheikha Latifa stressed the role of culture and media as powerful tools to safeguard identity, connect with the world, and build the future.
The majlis focused on strategies to strengthen Dubai’s identity and expand its cultural influence, underscoring the importance of heritage, innovation, and compelling narratives. An interactive workshop titled “The Memory to Come: Dubai as it Should be Told” was conducted with Room Five, inviting participants to reflect on the stories and values that should shape Dubai’s future legacy.
Prominent cultural leaders, decision-makers, and international experts attended the session, which reinforced Dubai’s position as a global center of creativity and cultural diversity.
