Beirut: Secretary-General of Lebanon's Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makiya announced on Sunday the new government lineup consisting of 24 ministers.
According to Emirates News Agency, the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, signed a decree accepting the resignation of Prime Minister Najib Mikati's government. He also signed another decree appointing Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to form the new government. Following these decrees, General Aoun and Prime Minister-designate Salam jointly signed the decree establishing the new government composed of 24 ministers.
