MANILA: A magnitude 6.7 earthquake shook Davao Occidental, Philippines, and nearby areas Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. According to the Philippine News Agency (PNA), the tectonic quake's epicentre was traced offshore Davao Occidental at 183 kilometres southeast of Balut Island, Sarangani at 4:48 am.
