Mansoor Bin Mohammed Visits Record-Breaking Dubai Airshow 2025


Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, visited the Dubai Airshow 2025, a leading event in the aviation, aerospace, and defense sectors, currently being held at Dubai World Central (DWC). With over 1,500 exhibitors, this largest-ever edition of the event is scheduled to conclude on 21st November.



According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor remarked that the Dubai Airshow has firmly established itself as a major global platform, attracting key international companies and organizations that showcase the latest advancements in aviation and defense technologies. He praised the extensive global participation, noting it to be the most comprehensive since the show’s inception.



H.H. emphasized that the success of the Dubai Airshow is a reflection of the vision of the UAE leadership and its strategic efforts to position the nation as a global aviation hub. He pointed out that the significant international participation fosters innovation, encourages the adoption of advanced technologies, and supports worldwide growth in the aviation sector, further highlighting the UAE’s leadership in the global aviation industry.



During his tour, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed visited several important national and international pavilions, including those of the EDGE Group, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Rafale, Abu Dhabi Aviation, Starlink, Airbus Space, Space42, and Thales, where he explored the latest in aviation, defense, and space technologies.



He also inspected new aircraft on display, such as the Gulfstream G800, Russian Sukhoi jets, Emirates’ Boeing 777 equipped with Starlink, and the Airbus H160 helicopter from Riyadh Aviation. At the UAE Air Force pavilion, he examined the A330 medical evacuation aircraft and the C-17 aircraft.



H.H. also attended the aerial displays on the second day of the event.



This year’s edition of the Dubai Airshow hosts more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 new participants, and is expected to attract 148,000 trade visitors and 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries. The event also features 21 country pavilions.



Over 200 aircraft, encompassing commercial, military, private jets, UAVs, and next-generation technologies, are being showcased across the flying and static displays, marking it as the largest in the event’s history.
