Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) event organized by the ADNEC Group and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mansour met with the event organizers and received a briefing on the sports programs and activities featured at the event. The Abu Dhabi Summer Sports includes a range of individual and team sports, as well as family- and child-focused events, aiming to offer a comprehensive sporting experience for all segments of society.
During his visit, Sheikh Mansour toured the exhibition center's key facilities, which span more than 37,000 square meters, making it the largest setup of its kind in the region. The event features over 52 enclosed and air-conditioned courts and pitches for more than 12 team sports, all meeting international standards, along with a 1.2-kilometer indoor running track.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour also engaged in a friendly volleyball match with community athletes, demonstrating his commitment to engaging directly with community initiatives and supporting sports activities during the summer months.
He expressed appreciation for the level of organization and the event's role in fostering an inclusive sports environment that promotes healthy and active lifestyles during the summer. Sheikh Mansour emphasized the importance of initiatives that enhance quality of life by offering safe and suitable settings for people of all ages to participate in sports.
