MAWLAWI VOWS HEIGHTENED SECURITY IN NORTHERN LEBANESE REGIONS

Caretaker Interior and Municipalities Minister, Bassam Mawlawi, on Monday announced that "citizens will notice an increased security presence in north Lebanon.' After chairing a security meeting at the Tripoli Serail, Mawlawi stated, "Our main concern is to achieve the highest level of security and safety." Emphasizing that "security forces are exerting every effort to apprehend those jeopardizing security.'
