Garrick Porteous, based in Dubai, who won the Abu Dhabi Challenge on the same course in 2024, shared his enthusiasm for returning to Al Ain, citing the course's challenging layout and excellent condition.

Ahmad Skaik, the UAE's leading professional golfer, holds a deep connection to Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club, having competed there multiple times. Skaik expressed his eagerness to perform well in front of a home crowd, acknowledging the MENA Golf Tour's role in his development.

Keith Waters, Chairman and Commissioner of the MENA Golf Tour, emphasized the significance of concluding the season in the UAE, highlighting the tour's mission to foster regional talent and provide world-class competition.

The Al Ain Championship will be the final event of a 2025/26 schedule that traversed Europe and the Middle East, offering $100,000 prize funds and Official World Golf Ranking points at each venue.
