Mexico city: Mexico and Peru announced on Friday the resumption of diplomatic relations after a break dating back to November 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, a joint statement from the foreign ministries of both countries emphasized that the decision to resume relations was based on the historic bonds of fraternity, friendship, and cooperation between the two nations. The statement also highlighted the importance of respecting international law and the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
